A Green and somewhat less expensive alternative in the tri-state area…

Jill Selby found an extraordinary way to channel her creativity and economic diligence as a green event event coordinator for parties, events, and business functions in an eco-savvy way.

Jill Selby is founder and creator of EVENTually Green, an environmentally conscious planning and sourcing company for green events be it at home or a hotel. She has planned social and business get-together's for friends, family and produced business trade events while she was on staff as Director of Creative Services at HBO.

After running her own design and marketing company, she found herself a single parent with conservative means. Time went quickly and she found herself with the task of creating her daughter's Bat Mitzvah.

She committed herself to arranging an event that would create a lasting memory of this special occasion. With thoughtful planning, she was able to work with her limited budget and also express her environmental awareness. The result was an event filled with meaning, style and much conversation. Without unnecessary expense and waste.

Since then, Jill has been called upon to help create safe, sustainable events of all kinds, from birthday parties, dinner parties, green policy task events and other corporate functions. She has also been called upon by other corporate event companies for consultation. She can do it for you.

Jill is an Ambassador Volunteer for Riverkeeper, an organization devoted to cleaning up the Hudson River, she is a contributing writer for AOL's Patch on green living and a member of WEDC's Women's Green Business Network.
